Classes return to normal from Tuesday 1st September (Eleanor's classes) and Emma's classes from Thursday 3rd September. Everyone will have been sent the new class timetable.
YOU MUST PRINT OFF THE FORM ABOVE AND BRING IT TO YOUR FIRST CLASS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE STUDIO WITHOUT A COMPLETED FORM.
We hope that you and your families are well and keeping safe during this extraordinary time. In our normal calendar, around this time in the year, we would usually be sorting the finishing touches for our end of year examinations and summer school fun ; a time of celebration and coming together.
Although this can’t happen now, we will have this day sometime soon, when we can all be together again in a studio or theatre. This is the vital role in which Theatre and the Arts will play in reconnecting communities.
I am thrilled to now update you on our plans for resuming classes in our studios - the first step in bringing our community back together (safely)! We welcome the Government publication on the guidance for reopening dance organisations and I am thrilled to announce that Rowan Academy of Dance aim to open our doors to students in early September. We will be making some changes to make sure that our students, staff and visitors are as safe as possible.
Some of these safety measures include:
* REDUCING CLASS SIZE TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING
* STAGGERING OUR CLASS TIMETABLE
*MINIMISING CONTACT ( NO ACRO CLASSES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
* ADDING SANITISING STATIONS AND PROMOTING INCREASED HAND WASHING
As the situation evolves, we will continue to follow the guidance from the UK Government and local authority and will act accordingly to their directives. We also have some fantastic things happening over the Summer too! Keep your eyes peeled on our social media for these!
As always, we are on hand to answer any questions or enquiries, so please email these to firstname.lastname@example.org
We can’t wait to welcome our students back into our studios, safely. Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.With all best wishes,
Eleanor and Emma
